Has anbody done a course with the Art Institute Online?

I'm interested in doing the Fashion and Retail Management degree programme at the Art Instute Online. Has anyone does this programme or any other programme with them? Is this a worthwhile school? I'm be interested to hear anyone's experiences. Thanks

what are some good online middle schools?

hey, i live in Dover New Hampshire and im soon going 2 b moving to the next town over (somersworth) which has a REALLLY bad school system, their high school isnt even accredited, and so my mom mentioned something about online schools, so i need one that has, Pre Algebra, world history, language arts, and science, plus any other electives

Back in the day people used company's that provided "mailing list",a list of addresses of people that had a special interest in something or lived in a particular area.
Now-a-days there are company's that will generate an "email" address list in the same fashion.

Can you please tell me some good online schools, I was thinking about westwood college. If you can think of something else please let me know. Thanx !!

I was thinking about maybe going to Westwood College for Animation, but lately I've been hearing a lot about Westwood College online being a rip-off and non-online being the same. I'm gonna have to get a lot of info on Westwood before I start if I even start there.

There's also The Art Institute online but it is very expensive.

I am taking AP Art History by myself online. But, I want to know if there is someone that give tutoring services for this class in any other school that would be willing to accept me for free. Any school around Miramar High School, from Broward County. I'll need tutoring throughout the year and our teachers at school sometime give tutoring free after school, but they don't offer AP Art at my school.

Flvs offers several tutoring services and has elluminate sessions available.

Any online art clubs?

I'm looking for a place to get inspired to get back in the field of art. I took every art class my high school had to offer, than studied it at college (Graphic Design program) for two years as well. I am a living testament to the fact that if you don't use your God-given talents, they will cease to exist. I am desperately trying to get back in the swing of things where art is concerned. Are there any online art clubs that have objectives or certain goals or anything like that. I'm looking for a place that will inspire me to get back into art, and have set goals and reason for me to actually get pieces done. Anyone know of anything I can get into? I've tried Deviant Art, but it's not as interactive as I'm looking for. I want to have monthly challenges and be forced to explore different mediums. Please help!! Any advice is worthy of me reading!

You might try Flickr. It has thousands of groups and I'm sure it has some art groups.

Online BA in Art History?

Hi, does anyone know of any online BA in Art History degree programs? I know that Mansfield University in PA has one. I am looking for acutal universities, as I am a little wary of the completly online “schools”. Thanks!

You’re smart to be wary of those schools. Stick to brick and mortar unis that offer online degrees, and you should be okay.

Mansfield U is the only uni that I know of that has an online/distance degree specifically in art history. And they’re a real university, appropriately accredited.
