Fine Art Schools

I am looking into design schools to attend so that I can get a foundation in design (for my GD career). A lot of the good ones require a portfolio (which I don’t have) so I need to find schools that don’t have that as a entry requirement. One of the one’s I found is Art Institute California Design College. Anybody know if this school is any good?

I know it's a little pricey. I think it is in LA. You might want to request some information on them, and maybe check rate my professor?

Yep. High school, not college

A high school? Or a college?

I am 15 years old and know I want to go to an art school. I am pretty sure I will focus on photography and graphic design. I live in Wisconsin but would really like to go to Southern California. Which art school should I go to? Also, Do you think I could graduate from high school my junior year? I am smart, organized, and very mature for my age. Please help me out!!! Thanks!

That is a very common question and I don't want to stress it enough please do not try to graduate your junior year.. if you feel that you're to far ahead take AP classes which will give you college credit and a great challenge and it will look well on your college applications! I suggest for choosing colleges… go to www.collegeboard.com and click on college match maker… it will really help you find all the colleges in the area you like also with the major and it will show what you need to get in.
