what does it take to be a private school art teacher in california?

for elementary, middle and highschool– although i'm mostly interested in highschool.
Does not actually take anything–if you want to be more likely to get the job though, I reccomend a BA of whatever with emphasis in education or if you want higher pay (which most private schools don't do to well at) you can try a MA education. You can pass your state certifying tests, then you might as well be a public teacher though.
